I am using an Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom Camera. I wanted a camera with a lot of zoom. This one has 10X optical zoom plus a 3x digital zoom. All photos on this page where taken in the automatic modes. Looking forward to learning how to bust out of those auto modes.

| This is a picture of a tree frog on rice plants. Taken in a green house. Opictal zoom was used. I would like for the tree frog to have taken up more of the image. | This is a light house near Galveston Texas. It was taken on a slightly foggy day. Optical zoom was used. There is a halo that is along the right side of the light house. The halo or ghosting effect was do to having an extention cable on my monitor. Nothing to do with the picture at all | This is Pixie. I love taking pictures of my cats. One place they like to act cute is on my monitor. If I take a picture with the flash on I get a reflection in the monitor screen. If I take a picture with the flash off it is too dark. |
