This week we worked with Vectors, how to draw, edit and color them. We then moved on to using the Scissor Tool for making selections. We also looked at Text as vectors and putting text on a path. We also talked about how to use a text selection over an image. We also worked with adding and editing a Mask.
In this image we used the scissor tool to select the flower. Then used a filter on the selected area. We edited anchor points of a vector path. We learned that filling an area with the bucket tool at a 50% opacity twice is the same effect as 75% opacity. We added text as a path and stroked it. Put text on a path, and deleting part of a path.
This is my "Masterpiece" image. We are to use a technique from each of the six lessons.
Lesson 1 - Used paint brush to add initials and date.
Lesson 2 - Bucket fill and to add color to a feathered selection.
Lesson 3 - Stoke a selection, cropping and scaling.
Lesson 4 - Photo color correction using White Balance.
Lesson 5 - Added text to my image.
Lesson 6 - Image selected with scissors added and text to path.

I used the blur brush to blur the telephone lines so they would not show up as much.
